Lumirror* X10S type is a Class B biaxially oriented polyester film with a minimal content of impurities having relatively low molecular weight (oligomer), and offers improved resistance against thermal wear and hydrolysis, while maintaining all the original properties of Lumirror* , including strength, electrical insulation, and chemical resistance.
Lumirror* X10S type is an insulating film material certified to UL746B (Class B, 130°C), and suitable for use in generators including Class B motors and motor for capacitors and transformers, as well as base material in various insulating applications.
(1)Lumirror* X10S type has the thermal wearing property of Class B (130°C or higher)
(2)X10S excels in wear against humidity and heat exposure over time, and has far superior resistance against hydrolysis compared to all-purpose polyester films.
(3)Oligomer content in X10S is half that in standard type Lumirror*.
(4)X10S is a hazy film, facilitating identification and thus helping to improve inspection efficiency.
