Toray manufactures Processed Film Products such as metallized, metal spattered and laminated using various film products. Main usages are for capacitors, electronic components and OA equipments and etc.
- TLT* is a three-layer, heat-resistant film, created by bonding Torelina*, Toray's polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) film, and Lumirror*, biaxially oriented polyester (PET) film. Combining outstanding electrical and mechanical properties as well as high thermal resistance with superior flexibility, TLT* is ideal for use as a thin electrical insulating materia. (Available grades: #75-380, actual thickness: 88 - 388micron)
- The range of AC/MC products is the result of metallizing Lumirror*, Torayfan*, or Torelina* with metals such as aluminum or zinc, and is used as the dielectric body in film capacitors. Toray's AC/MC products have already been in wide use in film capacitor applications, with good reputations of proven performance by manufacturers and in different markets of the world.
